This picture was inspired by one I saw on Flickr. I planned this picture, then I asked Mr. Smith to help me break into one of the busses behind the photography building. I like this picture because, unlike my others, I feel like it is actually pretty cool to look at. I stood at the very front of the bus, squatted down, took a deep breath, and snapped the shot.

This picture was also inspired by Flickr. However, it turned out nothing like the one I saw. I like this picture because I was trying to get a shallow depth of field, and I got what I wanted. It wasn't an accident like my flower picture. (even though I love happy accidents) I took Hannah Patterson with me too take this picture because I didn't want to do it wrong and not know why. I think I'm making progress..

Hannah Patterson actually came up with the idea for this picture. She didn't have it previously planned before we went outside. I like this picture because it isn't centered, which adds to the physical attraction to the picture. I get so caught up in everything when trying to take pictures, I often forget the rule of thirds. This time I did not. Great!

I took this picture because I saw one like it FOREVER ago on myspace. Originally I was in the right hand corner of this picture. I cropped myself out because I felt like it took away from the picture as a whole. I stood in front of the big mirror thing in front of the bus and shot up. I like this picture because it is simple, anyone in the class could have done it easily, but they didn't. It is different.

With out Hannah Patterson I would die! She has been so helpful through my photography struggle. This picture was kinda planned I guess. I have this weird bus interest this week, and so I knew when I came in today, I knew I would be taking a picture that has something to do with a bus. The point I was trying to make in this, is that Hannah had to sit alone on the bus. I like this picture because I actually had fun taking it..
