Third Blog!

     Yes, this picture was planned. My class was upstairs in the dark room to experiment with painting with light. One of my classmates found a silver sparkly star and mentioned how cool it would be to use it in a picture. I decided to try it. I played around with the star, and it took many different ideas and many tries before I created this picture. I asked John Dukes (12) to help me surround Taylor Coleman (11) with the glitter. First I painted Taylor, then John moved the star as I painted it, creating this picture. It is my favorite picture I took this week because it was my first day to ever paint with light and I was able to create, what I think, is a good picture. Painting with light may be my favorite thing I've learned so far..
